The Young Israel Sisterhood is a strong force in the YIFH.  The Sisterhood sponsors events and funds special projects for the Young Israel of Forest Hills community and beyond.

Some of the sisterhood activities includes:

Weekly Tehillim Group Meeting Monday evenings at 7:40pm in the shul classroom

Weekly Women’s Parsha Class- generally meets 1 hour prior to Mincha

Beginners Hebrew Class (Reading) 2^nd and 4^th Wednesday of the month

Intermediate Hebrew Class (Conversation) 1^st and 3^rd Wednesday of the month

Women’s Dance Class – Tuesday Evening 7:45pm in Shul Ballroom
