MISSION STATEMENT FOR THE YOUNG ISRAEL OF FOREST HILLS OUTREACH COMMITTEE

The mission of the outreach committee is to attempt to attract members of the Jewish community of

Forest Hills/Rego Park to functions and activities of the Young Israel of Forest Hills. We will do this

through planning specific functions that will attract affiliated and unaffiliated Jews in the community;

publicizing these functions through flyers, local newspapers ,the internet, as well as personal

networking. Once a person comes into the synagogue, they will be made to feel welcome and part of

the Young Israel family.
